Mohaxime

On one side of the story, there is Mohamed, a cheerful and friendly young teenager who continuously faces injustices due to his « face » On the other side, there is Maxime, a young teen with an angelic look who appears so trustworthy one might « give him the benefit of the doubt without a second thought. » That’s for the facade.

On the « inside, » Maxime, eaten away by the unjust loss of his mother, hates everyone and makes it known. Mohamed, filled with great ambitions, has learned to stay silent even in the face of those who insult him or those women who clutch their bags tighter when he approaches, or when he is stopped and frisked…

During an inexplicable event, Mohamed and Maxime find themselves in each other’s skin, and to return to normal, the « Mohaxime » they have become must learn to understand each other, to put themselves in each other’s shoes, and to consider the consequences of their actions…

D’un côté de l’histoire, il y a Mohamed, un jeune adolescent souriant et aimable qui ne cesse de subir des injustices liées à sa « gueule ». De l’autre côté, il y a Maxime, un jeune adolescent à la tête d’ange à qui l’on donnerait « le bon dieu sans confession ». Voilà pour la façade.

A « l’intérieur », Maxime, rongé par la perte injuste de sa mère, déteste tout le monde et le fait sentir. Mohamed, pétri de grandes ambitions, a appris à ne rien dire même face à ceux qui l’insultent ou à celles qui cachent leur sac quand il s’approche ou quand il se fait contrôler…

Au cours d’un événement inexplicable Mohamed et Maxime vont se retrouver dans la peau l’un de l’autre, et pour revenir à la normale, les « Mohaxime » qu’ils sont devenus, vont devoir apprendre à se comprendre, à se mettre à la place des autres et à mesurer les conséquences de leurs actes…
